Andrew Martin
Andrew Martin is Britain’s second largest privately owned International furniture and fabric house in the luxury market.
Andrew Martin has become especially recognisable for its expert mixture of European, Asian and African styles. Martin Waller, founder and Managing Director of Andrew Martin, believes in “translating crafts and cultural traditions found on travels, into stylish, contemporary creations.”
Andrew Martin stays true to its philosophy of creating showrooms that “surprise, stimulate and astonish”. The flagship store in London’s Walton Street features a chanting Buddha, a real aeroplane, televisions in the floor and moving fabrics, while the New York showroom includes permanent fixtures such as vintage cars, water features, smoke machines and a 1904 wood and canvas bi-plane.
Many of Andrew Martin’s fabric collections are probably the most ‘masculine’ and most ‘cultural’ of the fabric houses. Take a look through the slide show to gain a flavour of these fabrics.
