As you probably know, we stock Sanderson’s wallpapers and fabrics here at Garrendenny Lane (and will soon be able to supply them online) so I was delighted to write an article on Sanderson’s gorgeous 150th Anniversary collection for Munster Interiors Magazine.

I am giving you a preview of some new stock that I will be ordering and then it will arrive in about a month’s time.  Love Mae is the creator of fabulous fabric stickers – stickers for walls and smaller stickers for notebooks etc.  But these are not just fabulous designs: because they are made of fabric they can be moved and moved and moved so not only are they going to withstand little fingers, but the kids will enjoy being creative and imaginative in moving them around.

This is a combination of a couple of packs of stickers and isn’t it exquisite?

And the mini stickers can be used to decorate canvases, notebooks ……

I have a favour to ask of you as I haven’t finalised my order yet – do let me know what your favourites are and indeed, if you would like to preorder any, do let me know and I can order that design for you. I can contact you when they arrive in approximately 5 weeks time.  You can check out the full collection here.  There are designs for boys as well as girls by the way.

To give you an idea of price, the small sheets will be about €45, the medium sheets €65 and the large sheets €90. The mini sheets (the smallest stickers) will be about €19.50.  I know I will have my hands full keeping my soon to be 6 year old away from the stock!

Sanderson’s celelebrations are in full swing for their 150th anniversary and at the heart of them is the striking Vintage collection. Each design in the collection is reflective of the style of the era when it was first launched, ranging from the late 19th century to the mid 1970s.

Sanderson are having an exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London until 13th June but they are also bringing a snapshot of this enhibitiion to Dublin to the Interior Design and Art Fair at the RDS from 14th-16th May.

Yukari sent me this photo this morning of her gorgeous Manor House Damask Wallpaper.  In keeping with the Japanese tradition of working with the seasons, each colourway is named after a different season and this one is Spring and has been really popular lately.
