Mother’s Day is on 14th March this year.
PS I can’t remember what my kids (aged 6 and 4 then) gave me last year but I do remember they made me stay in bed while they went downstairs to set the table for breakfast. I could hear them fighting over which ‘pretty’ mug and bowl to give me and then spilt cornflakes everywhere but it was lovely. Their teacher also taught them a poem to say which brought tears to my eyes. So, yes, I guess, it is the message, not the gift that counts.
