I was excited to see Paperboy wallpaper and fabric at 100% Design, having first seen it on Sheila’s Folder of Ideas blog.  Designed for boys who want something that isn’t babyish or twee and suits perfectly before they decide to paint their rooms black!  This design is called dya-think-e-saurus (which I believe translates into ‘do you think he saw us!’.) and as you can imagine, it features dinosaurs so is perfect for boys dreaming about running around jungles and forests, hiding from scary dinosaurs and riding on the backs of others.  There’s  real sense of vibrancy and movement within the design.

Available in a number of colourways, it is ideal for boys who adore dinosaurs and there’s plenty of them!  A roll costs £78stg so probably between €90 and €100 per roll.

Also being launched is dinosaur fabric but the images aren’t available as yet on their Paperboy wallpaper website.  They also have animal wallpaper and fabric that feature cats, dogs and other domestic animals.  A third design is the hand silhouettes forming animals and images.  What is amazing about one of the animal fabric designs(and the dinosaur, if I remember correctly) is that the skeleton of the animal is visible depending on the angle of the light and it really is incredibly clever and effective.

I think panels of this wallpaper would be really effective – simply box off a predetermined area with architrave or narrower strips of wood to create a box and wallpaper within it.  You might even get away with just one roll.
