I was out with a new client recently and one of the aspects she wanted my opinion on was the lighting. She has a double height hall which really needs a statement piece and what we came up with, would also be gorgeous for Fiona’s double height hallway that was featured some time ago on this blog.

Willie Duggan’s Lighting emporium and website features wonderful lighting both for the domestic and commercial markets.  This Totem suspended light is magnificent – it is available in different natural woods and different colours, different sizes – its rounded tapering shape really suggests harmony and although it is imposing, it isn’t ‘masculine’ but softer and more womanly (just getting some psychoanalysis in there!)  Brilliant for creating impact without being over the top.
